A few years ago I paid seventeen dollars for a course that promised millions of views.
What arrived was a folder of templates and a queue of upsells. Buy this one and make even more money. Buy this one and get even more eyeballs.
Nobody mentioned I would still have to work out what people actually wanted to watch. Or learn video editing from scratch. Both of those took real time, and neither was in the sales page.
The videos got almost no views. It was demoralizing.
I’m telling you that on my About page because it explains everything else on this site.

My name is Cherry, and I built MMO Essentials.
It’s where I write about putting together a simple online business without the hype. Email lists, affiliate marketing, content that gets found, and the tools that actually earn their place.
I collected……
Courses I never finished. Tools I paid for monthly and opened twice. PLR packs I meant to rework one day. Templates saved into folders I never opened again.
None of it connected. I had a lot of pieces and nothing that worked.
The most expensive version of that mistake was software. I ran an earlier online business on ClickFunnels, and the bill was over a hundred dollars a month just to keep it running. That cost was one of the reasons the business eventually closed.
Here is the part that stung. I did not close because I lacked tools. I closed while paying for very good ones.
That is why MMO Essentials runs on simpler, cheaper software, and why I will never tell you the answer to your problem is another subscription.
I stopped collecting and started finishing.
One thing at a time, taken all the way to published. Not five projects at forty percent. One project at a hundred.
That turned into the way I work now, and it is the whole idea behind this site:
Start It → Master It → Scale It
Start it with the next clear step, not the perfect plan.
Master it by actually using it until you understand it.
Scale it only once the thing underneath is working.
Most online business advice skips straight to the third step. That is why so much of it does not stick.
I would rather show you than tell you.
Eight free workbooks: Email, affiliate marketing, lead magnets, SEO, landing pages, funnels, affiliate bonuses, and AI tools. Each one covers a single area properly instead of skimming everything. Four more are on the way.
Twenty-one articles, from what an email list actually is, to whether ChatGPT Plus is worth paying for.
Built around a full-time job. Roughly an hour on a weekday, plus longer stretches at the weekend…
I will be straight with you about the age of this. MMO Essentials is new. What you can check is that the work is real, dated, and adding up week by week, which is more than I can say for most of what I bought over the years.
✅ What you will find here
✅ Free workbooks that take one topic at a time and finish it
✅ Honest write-ups of tools, including where they are not worth it
✅ Plain explanations of the words that trip people up, like funnel, tag, automation, and landing page
✅ Content, email, and traffic lessons in an order that makes sense
✅ The real version of what I am building, including the parts that did not go to plan
This matters as much as the list above.
I will not promise you an income figure. I do not know your situation, your hours, or your starting point, and anyone who quotes you a number without knowing those things is selling, not teaching.
I will not tell you something is effortless. The work is not hard, but it is work, and pretending otherwise is how people end up feeling broken when it takes longer than the advert said.
I will not recommend a tool I do not use. Some links here earn me a commission, and that changes nothing about which tools I name. I follow the FTC’s disclosure guidance on saying so plainly. If something is not worth your money, that is what the article will say.
I will not make you buy anything to get started. Every Foundation workbook is free, and there is no catch waiting on page four.
Pick one Foundation. Just one.
Not the whole library, and not the one that sounds most impressive. The one that matches what you are stuck on this week.
If you want people to stay in touch with you, start with Email Foundations.
If you want to recommend products honestly, start with Affiliate Marketing Foundations.
If you want your writing to get found in search, start with SEO Foundations.
If you are not sure yet, open the library and read the descriptions. One of them will feel like your problem.
👉 Choose your first free Foundation
No cost, no upsell queue, and no promise of millions of views.
One clear next step is genuinely enough to begin with. It is more than I had.
